Disability Day on the Hill provides members of Nashville’s disability community the chance to take part in the legislative process. Events will be held in-person at the capitol in Nashville, and there also will be plenty of opportunities to participate, advocate, and celebrate virtually!
The Tennessee Disability Coalition is encouraging and empowering community members to schedule meetings with their legislators either over the phone, zoom or in-person on Disability Day on the Hill.
You can find contact information for your legislator online at: www.capitol.tn.gov
Here is a step-by-step video showing you how to schedule a meeting with your legislator: https://youtu.be/5iLzkg1edD8?si=OUuoq8122aSKms8L
