The Family Group is for family members whose loved ones either reside at one of our Friendship Houses or are on the waiting list to move into one of the houses. The group meets virtually from 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm. Contact Mary Bers for the Zoom link or more information. The group meets regularly on the first Tuesday of the month. Emma Shouse, Public Information Specialist at the Tennessee Council on Developmental Disabilities, will be the group's guest speaker this evening, following up on her September presentation on "Charting the Life Course Tools" which helps families talk about the future, goals, needed supports and relationships in a person's life. Emma will meet with the Family Group to follow-up on their efforts and answer any questions people have collected in the course of developing their family's framework.
