In place of our regular Life Skills Class, we will be having some fun together for Halloween!
If you think you know a lot of Halloween facts, show off how scary-smart you are about everything from the history of jack-o-lanterns to classic horror movies. Why did people start dressing up in Halloween costumes? Answer: to repel spirits they believed came back to Earth on October 31. If you're more the riddle type, here's one for you. The person who built it sold it. The person who bought it never used it. The person who used it never saw it. What is it? Answer: a coffin! Even better: when is it bad luck to see a black cat? Answer: when you're a mouse! Instead of our Monday night life skills class this evening, we're having a trivia night. Come join us for some spooky fun, candy and prizes for trivia wizards from 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm at the Easley Community Center, 1000 Edgehill Avenue. Contact Carolyn Naifeh for more information.
