If you want create to a meaningful connection with someone special, and you’re looking for ideas about where to begin, this dating workshop — hosted by Autism Tennessee — is for you! Mixed-neurotype married couple Lesley Patterson-Marx (Autistic) and Jonathan Marx (neurotypical) will help you navigate some common questions around dating, including:
expressing interest in someone and asking them out
how to figure out whether someone might be interested in you
using dating apps
authenticity and unmasking
making conversation and interpreting conversational cues
fun dating ideas
maintaining your physical and psychological safety
This workshop is inclusive of all genders and sexualities. The workshop will include a Q&A, and Lesley and Jonathan will facilitate an open, honest conversation about the opportunities and the challenges of dating.
