Life Skills Class: Making Stained Glass

  • Easley Community Center (map)

Nashville Glassworks is a paradise for glassworkers of all kinds. Their shop sells glass and supplies from around the world, but the main purpose of Nashville Glassworks is to provide one-of-a-kind glass classes: in mosaic, fused glass, and stained glass. Owners Martha Morales Purucker and Susan Henderson Isel are happy to provide a place in Nashville for continuing education in the glass community.

Tonight’s class will expose you to this exciting medium. In their own words, Martha and Susan put it this way: “We truly believe the Universe, God, and The Arts brought us together because greatness can happen. We are two minority women with disabilities in the arts in a revitalizing field. There have been many glass stores in Nashville over the years, but none have survived. We hope that by combining all the mediums, we can be a point of unity for the glass community in Tennessee.”

Join us at the Easley Community Center from 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm for this glass class! For more information, contact Jordan Collins.
