Finding love and marriage are a priority for many in our community. But it's hard. Meeting new people and dating? Hard. Knowing how to go from being friends to being life partners? Hard. Actually getting married, and having an IDD? Well, that's rare. But it does happen. Taegan and Kevin Hill will be joining us to tell us about how they met, courted, and got married. They'll be celebrating their second wedding anniversary on April 25, 2022 and will talk about love and marriage on Valentine's Day -- the day that celebrates love between family members and friends, and also romantic couples! Class will meet from 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm at the Easley Community Center, 1100 Edgehill Avenue.
As Life Skills Classes transition to in person, we welcome all residents and waiting listers to participate! Transport can be provided for those living at Friendship house if you let us know in advance.
If you are not able to make it in person, we will share a stream via zoom, however we hope to have as many people in person as possible to help us form bonds of connection. The zoom version will be held at our regular zoom room. Contact Jordan Collins for the link or with any questions you may have.
