Our Next Chapter Book Club meets every Wednesday from 4:45 pm - 5:45 pm; we're still meeting virtually instead of at Dozen Bakery. The group most recently read the #1 New York Times bestseller, The Land of Stories: The Wishing Spell. Today, the group begins This Book is Funny, by Michelle Sandoval. The collection of short stories answers pertinent questions such as, What happens when a caveman goes shopping for real estate? Or a famous children’s television character goes speed dating? This book is good for a person’s mental health and will make you laugh out loud. The Next Chapter Book Club's mission is to provide meaningful opportunities for lifelong-learning, social connections and authentic community inclusion for individuals with developmental disabilities.
