Our Next Chapter Book Club meets every Wednesday from 4:45 pm - 5:45 pm; we're still meeting virtually instead of at Dozen Bakery. Last month, we started reading the #1 New York Times bestseller, The Land of Stories: The Wishing Spell by Chris Colfer. The book tells the tale of twins Alex and Conner. Through the mysterious powers of a cherished book of stories, they leave their world behind and find themselves in a foreign land full of wonder and magic where they come face-to-face with fairy tale characters they grew up reading about. The Next Chapter Book Club's mission is to provide meaningful opportunities for lifelong-learning, social connections and authentic community inclusion for individuals with developmental disabilities.
