This event is suggested for students with disabilities, their families, and professionals that work with them. In this Virtual Transition Fair, several Centers for Independent Living and other Tennessee providers will present on independent living skills and their importance, residential service models, young people’s experiences with independent living, and ways to find these resources in your local community. You will have the opportunity to join a regional breakout room to learn more specific information and ask questions. Organizers know that not all Tennessee counties are covered by these organizations and that people may be participating from out of state, so representatives are prepared to discuss independent living supports in general and give suggestions for where to find these resources.
