Santa, Stories and Songs

Scrooge is definitely in evidence this year with the pandemic, and our Friendship House residents will not be gathering at our Board Chairman’s home for our annual holiday festivities.  HOWEVER, we will be celebrating safely on Zoom – on Monday, December 21 from 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm.

We’re going to have Santa, Stories and Songs – a celebration with words (Henry. O. “Chip” Arnold), song (Rodeo and Juliet, Christmas carols) and treats. Chip Arnold is a well-known Nashville actor (http://henryoarnold.com).  He’s going to read stories and poems, including Dr. Seuss’s “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” and Clement Clarke Moore’s “’Twas the Night Before Christmas”.

Rodeo & Juliet is an American roots duo made up of husband-wife team Chris and Jan  Harris.  You can hear some of their music on You Tube (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCUnxqMbOaps-Lx85B-L3kjA) and learn more about them at https://rodeoandjuliet.tumblr.com.   You also can see some of the people and some of the brands Chris has worked with as a singer and/or as a producer here: https://www.chproducer.com.  We’re going to sing some of our residents’ favorite Christmas carols, too!

This celebration is for Friendship House residents only.
