Award-winning actor Ed Harris is helping us shine a light on Our Place Nashville and its mission to empower individuals with developmental disabilities by providing homes that are affordable, work that is meaningful, and inclusive communities in which to live. Learn about the exciting advancements Our Place is making – doubling its affordable housing accommodations to more than 150 units in the next 15 months – and how you can help maintain this exciting momentum as they raise funds for transportation, additional staff and community activities for the four Friendship Houses they have open and the eight additional Houses that will open in 2022.
Ed Harris is not only an actor. He is a producer, director and screenwriter. His work has earned him critical acclaim and a reputation as one of the most talented actors of our time:
- Apollo 13 - The Truman Show
- The Hours - Pollock
- The Right Stuff - Appaloosa
- Places in the Heart - A Beautiful Mind
- Radio - Sweet Dreams
- HBO’s Westworld - HBO’s Game Change
Hear Ed interview some of our Friendship House residents. Listen to him talk about some of the projects he’s been involved with in 2020: from starring in To Kill a Mockingbird on Broadway (before lockdown) to shooting next year’s Top Gun: Maverick.
