IndicatorArt, a non-profit that provides artistic programs for people with disabilities, hosts a performance showcase with participants from their weekly workshops, which have focused on sketch comedy (that’s two of our Friendship House residents in the hillbilly picture), singing performance, musical theater, film, songwriting, and teen singing. You are guaranteed to hear some Broadway tunes as well as some holiday songs, including “Jingle Bells,” “Silent Night,” and “We Wish You a Merry Christmas.” The performance at Douglas Corner is FREE, but is first come, first served, so come early if you want a good seat! This fourth round of workshops began November 5. Contact Debby Throckmorton at 615-400-2534 or dbthrock@yahoo.com for more information.
