Life Skills Classes - What Is Your Story?

  • Easley Community Center 1000 Edgehill Avenue Nashville, TN 37203 (map)

Our Place Nashville holds life skills classes every Monday night when Metro Nashville Public Schools are in session. This evening’s class is the first of our 2019-2020 offerings, and begins with Bob Farnsworth, President and Creative Director of Hummingbird Productions, as our instructor. Bob is going to talk about how each of us can make the world a better place. We might not be in control of all of the things that come our way during the day, but we ARE in control of how we handle it, what choices we make, what we want our life to be.

Bob’s company is a film and music company that makes “fusic” — the process of fusing film and music production from BEGINNING TO END. Bob’s going to talk with us about how we can write the music that is the soundtrack to our lives, where depending on the how, when & why we live our everyday lives, the score can be happy, sad, scary, monotonous, resilient . . . we can make it whatever we want it to be . . . with teamwork, attitude, and outlook affecting the final outcome.

For more about Hummingbird Productions, visit their website. Bob, an icon in the entertainment industry, founded Hummingbird in 1976. He has been directly involved with building Hummingbird’s library of over 7,000 works. On the music side, Bob has composed for numerous IMEX signature films as well as for clients such as Coke, Pepsi, McDonald’s, Budweiser and hundreds of others. Hummingbird has won multiple Clio Awards, including a Clio Hall of Fame Award for the original Budweiser Frogs.
